What Is Passion Week?
Jesus' final week is a mighty testimony to God's great love, culminating with the single greatest event in history, Jesus' resurrection. Eater is the celebration of Jesus and His victory over sin and death. During Passion Week, New Hope will embark on a journey of prayer and fasting. Each day we will focus on a specific theme to pray for and will have scripture to reflect/pray about. We encourage everyone to seek and petition God as we embrace another Easter in joyful hope of the glory to come.
Pastor Malcolm & Kathy are encouraging people to participate in a three day fast (Esther Fast). Fasting of your choice, Wednesday March 27th-Friday March 29th (concluding at the Good Friday Service with communion). Esther 4:15.
March 25th, 2024 "A Day of Praise" - 1 Peter 1:3
Already knowing of Jesus' victory over sin and death, let us begin this Easter by praising God and thank Him for his love, grace and mercy.
March 26th, 2024 “Families” – Numbers 6:24-26
As families devote themselves to God, may the Lord bless their home and protect them.
March 27th, 2024 “Prodigals and the Lost” – Ephesians 2:4-5 & 2 Peter 3:9
Let us cry out to God for the fathers, mothers, sons, and daughters lost to the world, asking they encounter Christ.
March 28th, 2024 “For Our City and Neighbors” Mark 12:30-31
May our city and neighbors hear or see the Good News through our lives.
March 29th, 2024 “Grateful Mourning” – Isaiah 53:1-13
Jesus went to the cross for our sin; let us be forever thankful!
March 30th, 2024 “Easter at New Hope” – Romans 12:9-13
May the Lord anoint New Hope, Pastor Malcolm, and all who will be ministering. May God move in the hearts and minds of all who will be attending in-person and online.
